Katrina Brockman

Hello! My name is Katrina Brockman, and I am so excited to be teaching second grade reading and
language arts this year at ACS. It already feels like home, and I know God has me placed where I am for
His purpose.
I am from Alvin, TX where I lived most of my life, until recently moving to West Columbia, TX 2 ½ years
ago. I attended Alvin Community College and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Development,
then transferred to the University of Houston Clear Lake where I pursued my degree in Interdisciplinary
Studies EC-6. I have been in education now for 5 years where I have taught Pre-K, intervention groups
grades 3-5, and first grade.
I am blessed with my awesome husband, Michel, 2 sons, Brant and Kade, 1 bonus son, Jacey, and 2
daughters, Madison, and Macie. I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom with my children for many
years while managing a baking business as well. I always had the passion for teaching, and even though I
started later in life to pursue that career path, I am loving every minute of it.
My family and I love trips to the Frio River, live Texas Music, our year old miniature schnauzer, Scout,
and showing cattle. My 8-year-old daughter, Macie, is looking forward to showing her first heifer this
year.
I attend New Hope Church in Manvel, TX with my family. We love Sundays driving to church, going out
to lunch, and doing a bit of shopping. My favorite bible verse is 1 John 4:19 “We love because He first
loved us”.
My enthusiasm for all things teaching…beyond the knowledge I must share and gain, and now the
spiritual teaching I get to take part in, has me thrilled to get to know, teach, and share the love of God
with each one of my students. I am truly blessed to be here and look forward to a wonderful 2023-24
school year.
