I am Taryn Holt, born and raised in Baytown, TX. My roots run deep in any/all Education background, and I always knew my dream job was to be a Teacher. I am a graduate from Sam Houston State University *Eat Em Up Kats!!* where I received my BS in EC-6 and my minor in SPED K-12. SHSU is also where I met my husband Kyle, and we’ve been married for 10 years! We have 2 kiddos, Levi (8) and Logan (6) who also attend here at ACS. 

 

I taught in Goose Creek CISD for 3 years, then we moved back to Angleton where I was a Stay at Home Mom for a few years. I taught Prek4 at School for Little People in Lake Jackson, then God quickly led me back to ACS. I have been an ACS parent going on 4 years and this is my second year to teach here. I feel so blessed to teach here!

 

I love spending time with my family, going camping, baseball *Go Astros!!* fishing, hunting, anything outdoors! 

 

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was at church camp at 8 years old and was baptized at the church I was raised in, which is also where Kyle and I were married :)

 

I believe God has called me to teach at ACS and I cannot wait to impact kids both spiritually and academically. There’s nothing better than seeing the growth each student makes throughout the year!
