I am a graduate of the University of Houston at Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Specialization.  Before coming to ACS, I taught for 30 years in Angleton ISD.  I taught second grade for 20 years and fourth grade for 10.  I am currently beginning by 8th year at ACS teaching second and third grade math, and I couldn’t be happier or feel more blessed!

My Family
Alongside my school children, my family plays the biggest part in my life.  I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart for 39 years, and we have two beautiful children.  Ashley, 32, is a graduate of Howard Payne University.  She is a teacher at Angleton Junior High where she teaches PE and coaches volleyball and softball.  She has been married to Coach Brent for seven years.  Austin, 26, is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in meteorology.  He is currently employed as a meteorologist at Universal Weather and Aviation in Houston.
