TEACHERS shape the future…future of their students, future of their school, and in many cases in the future of the families of their students, and definitely the future of our Country. They are trainers and EXAMPLES for ALL of society. Their hard work, in turn, inspires and impacts EVERYONE with whom they come in contact. TEACHERS change lives. ACS teachers MUST be spiritual leaders. The Bible says that every Christian is an ambassador for Christ in 2 Corinthians 5:20.
As we know and grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ, we lead others to do the same.
How do we know we’re on the right track?
We model the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), and we give Him our all in doing so. There are many voices wanting to define success for us, we let Christ’s be the only one.
While others may hold great influence, Jesus Christ defines success. He alone is our role model. This is the standard of a Christ-following teacher.
There are students at EVERY grade level that will CHOOSE to follow Christ because of how you live your life. They can see and FEEL your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
