Pamela Brooks
Board Vice-President

Hello friends, my name is Pamela Brooks and the most important blessing I ever received was the day I accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 8 at Long Pond Baptist Church in Angleton. I was born in Waxahachie, Texas but I have been raised my whole life here in the purple pride of Angleton with my sweet family. I have been blessed by God to be married to my lifelong friend and fishing partner Darren Brooks for 21 years. God blessed us again with our beautiful son Trevor Ethan who has spent his entire educational journey at ACS graduating in 2023. I enjoy gardening, water sports, singing and music. I am part of a loving praise team and choir at FBC in Angleton. I enjoy studying God’s word and sharing the love of Jesus where I can. I teach an adult neighborhood bible study, children’s church and a new believer’s class at FBC for children who have made a profession of faith.

I have always had a heart for education for myself and others and hold the entire educational and spiritual journey in high esteem. I graduated from Angleton High School and went on to graduate from University of Houston Clear-Lake with a BS in Psychology and a MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Graduate Certificate from George Mason University in Community College Education. I have taught public school in Virginia and adjunct college courses for over 10 years in several post-secondary institutions most recently at Brazosport College. I am currently a Broker/Associate with my family business Paula Mutina Properties for the last 20 years and I am the Financial Wellness Coordinator at Brazosport College.

There is no greater cause in my life, and it is a privilege to serve on the ACS board and in whatever capacity God has for me in His school. I have personally seen how ACS has supported and encouraged my family since the very beginning when the vision was given by Brother Rodney Bowman at FBC in 2004. I am committed to ensuring this quality Christian education is available to families for generations to come. My favorite book of the bible is Isaiah 58 and the memory verse that provides comfort and hope to me is Psalms 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”
